started dancing at two years old under the training of Stacie Nelson. She danced at The NY Dancers Studio for many years, training in ballet, pointe, tap, modern, and jazz. She also performed in the studio's annual production of The Nutcracker from 2011-2015 in various roles including Snow Queen, Dew Drop Fairy, and Sugar Plum Fairy. Jessie graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Minor in Dance. Through her dance studies, she explored many styles, ranging from Garth Fagan technique to classical pointe, while gaining knowledge in dance history, composition, and kinesiology. As a member of Geneseo Dance Ensemble, she continued training, performing, and doing what she loves most. She was invited to dance in a faculty choreographed piece at the 2019 ACDA Northeast Conference where dancers gather to perform, take classes, and present research. Her senior year, she was chosen to be one of three Student Assistant Directors for the dance ensemble, and also awarded Geneso's Bertha V.B Lederer Endowed Scholarship for Research and Performance Excellence in Dance Studies. Jessie is so excited to return to the place where she first found her love for dance, and hopes to share the same passion with everyone at The NY Dancers Studio!
