The NY Dancers Studio was founded by Artistic Director Stacie Nelson
to bridge the gap between raw technique and artistry
so often lacking in dance instruction on Long Island.
Ms. Nelson’s focus is on the total performance experience.
Students have the opportunity to perform throughout the year. They learn how to work together to achieve a common goal, support each other, and help each other grow as dancers and entertainers, with professional teachers
who care and mentor!
With over 35 years of teaching and performing experience, The NY Dancers Studio under the direction of Stacie Nelson, has made an impact on many Dancers, and given them the inspiration and ability to have professional careers!

The NY Dancers Studio is a truly unique studio that nourishes artistry, technique, talent, and the joy of dancing. Focusing on the needs of each student and on their individual advancement without the distractions of an expensive competition, Stacie Nelson along with her team of highly trained artists are trained to guide your child's creativity in ways that can be used in all areas of their lives. I have been a part of this studio from its very beginning and I am truly honored to see its continued growth and to observe the countless talented students that have trained at this remarkable place!
