I have had the absolute pleasure of training under Miss Stacie since the first year her studio opened in 2003. Her professionalism, knowledge of the industry, and dedication to all of her students is second to none. I am so grateful for her unwavering support and guidance during my time as her student and as a member of her professional dance company, The Dance Theatre Company. Miss Stacie's focus on raw technique and well rounded performance skills has truly shaped who I am as a dancer today and I couldn't be more thankful.
With two young sons of my own now, I am very lucky to be able to have my oldest a part of The NY Dancers Studio family training under Miss Stacie, as I did 17 years ago! Being able to share the same stage as my son has been a dream come true, and I cant wait for many more incredible years to come at The NY Dancers Studio with Miss Stacie

The NY Dancers Studio is a remarkable studio with the best teachers I have ever experienced in my own dance career. Not only do my daughters currently dance there, but I was also taught by the Owner/Teacher Stacie, when I was a young girl. She has made such an impression in my life and in my girls lives. Both my daughters have been dancing at the studio for 6 years. Our experiences have given us so many opportunities to grow, not just dancers, but as people. My girls are learning to be confident, strong, and determined through life, both in and outside of dance, and I have the teachers to thank for that. This is a safe environment where it is fun to learn. The NY Dancers Studio also provides the girls with many opportunities to perform outside of the studio. The girls are learning so much about themselves. Their experiences and performances are making them stronger, more confident dancers and people. They have also made so many great friends and memories over their 6 years at The NY Dancers Studio. I am forever grateful to their teachers, owner, office staff and fellow dancers for everything they taught them (and will continue to teach) both in and outside the studio. This studio will forever be my girls second home!

Back in the day, when i was a Zumba instructor, I stumbled upon The NY Dancers Studio, where I taught classes for a while. What I did not know, was what an amazing studio and vibe that I fell into. After I had my daughter, I knew where she would be dancing. This studio is a non -competitive dance studio that specializes in developing technique. The instructors are nothing short of amazing and have extensive professional experience. They offer amazing classes as well as two productions a year, in addition to the recital. Stacie Nelson, is one of the sweetest humans on the planet. It is her dedication as a dancer, as well as her experience and love for every single child that walks through her door that keep me and so many others coming back year after year.
This has been a horrific year for businesses, especially small ones. If you are considering enrolling your child in dance, you NEED to come to The NY Dancers Studio. All CDC protocols are in place and the studio is clean, sanitized and safe.

I began dancing with Miss Stacie at St Brigid/OLH Regional School in Westbury. I have always loved her passion and dedication to the art of dance, and it made me appreciate dance so much more. I am so honored to be dancing again under Miss Stacie and alongside many other talented dancers in her professional Dance Company, The Dance Theatre Company.
Once my daughter was born, I knew she was going to dance. She began with Miss Stacie when she attended St Brigid/OLH for Kindergarten. It is amazing watching her grow as a dancer under Miss Stacie, and the other wonderful teachers at The NY Dancers Studio who have made it feel like one big dancing family! I cant wait to share the same stage again with my daughter during the next performance!

I drive my daughter to The NY Dancers Studio from the Bronx because our experience with Stacie and the Studio is totally worth our time and traffic. We feel so at home, and I know our daughter is getting a personal, specialized dance education focused on building technique and a life-long love of dance. I first met Stacie as a dancer myself four years ago, as she is the choreographer for a Company I work with. When my daughter turned three, we started looking for studios close to us, and found that everything in the city was very crowded, and of course, very expensive. We tried a few studios in the summer, and when it came time to register for a year in September, I decided to listen to my intuition and go with Stacie and The NY Dancers Studio, and I'm so glad! My daughter is in her third year with Stacie, and has been with the same students all along. It really feels like we have a family here, not just a dance class once a week, so much more. Its been a joy for me to see her grow along with her dancer friends as well. I look forward to many more years of dancing at the studio! I'm sure my son will start dancing when he turns three! Stacie offers so many opportunities for her dancers and I cant wait to see what is in store for our family at The NY Dancers Studio!

My daughter has been dancing at The NY Dancers Studio for over ten years. I could never have imagined the journey it would take her on. From crooked pigtails and big tutus to her first and now second pair of pointe shoes. The staff and students have become her family. Whether life is happy or sad the first place she turns is to her dance family. As a parent I'm in awe of the professionalism and dedication set forth. I have watched my daughter grow as a dancer these ten years. Because of Stacie and the entire staff, my daughter dreams of a career in dance. not only because of her love of dance, but because watching them model what her future can be. This Studio pays close attention to technique and safety first. During this stressful time with covid, the studio never missed a beat, from zoom classes to safely returning to the studio.
