Julia Kane is a NYC based artist, educator and philantropist   She is on Jazz Faculty at Broadway Dance Center and Peridance Center, and has been the Artistic Director of Julia Kane Dance Collective since 2017.  Julia holds her BFA in Dance, and is a graduate of The Long Island High School for the Arts.  With a vast knowledge and training in technical jazz, Ballet, and Modern, her work emphasizes stylized reach and release on top of a strong technical foundation.  As a cancer survivor, Julia and her company are passionate about raising funds and awareness for cancer care, support, and research.  She carries her art each day with the inspiration from the friends that she has lost to cancer along the way within the dance community.
