master class series

Each week in July we will focus on technique in a specific style of dance.  These weekly classes will include Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Jazz and Hip Hop for dancers starting at

age 7. Additional classes for ages 3-4 and 5-6!

 

Then let loose and celebrate your love of dance featuring a new and exciting "Funday" class each week with Miss Kelsey McKillop!   Classes to look forward to include:

    

     *Radio City Rockette:  Learn choreography direct from The Radio City Christmas Spectacular and bring some Christmas cheer to your summer!  Miss Kelsey has attended the Rockette Summer Intensive for five years and is thrilled to share some moves and secrets from the Rockettes themselves!  Emphasis is on precision jazz, (tap experience is a plus but not required).  Open to ages 10 and up!  Dress code required: black leotard, jazz shoes or character shoes, red lipstick encouraged!

    

      *Famous Movie Variations:  Learn iconic choreography from some of your favorite movies-The Greatest Showman, Teen Beach Movie, and High School Musical to name a few!  Open  to all ages!  Dress code:  each week will have a different theme and different  outfit/costume encouraged!!

    

      *Line Dancing:  Don't limit yourself to dancing in one direction- line dancing constantly allows you to change direction, exercising your mind as well as your body!  Miss Kelsey will help break down some of the classics including: Cotton Eyed Joe, Cupid Shuffle, and Wobble, as well as sharing some of her own line dance remixes shes perfected over the last four years teaching at North Hempstead Beach Park!   Open to all ages!  Dress code: work out clothes and plenty of sunscreen!
